Alex Alvarez Taylor
About
Doctoral candidate and honorary collaborator at the Philosophy and Society Department at the Complutense University of Madrid. I am a member of the Iberian-American Society for Critical Theory Studies (Setcrit).

I am investigating the topic of experience and its relation to models of ‘aesthetic’ and social critique in Early Critical Theory and critical social theory. My interests lie in Critical Theory, social and value form theory, intellectual & art history, and the humanities in general.

For my BA and MA, I read History of Art at the Courtauld Institute, University of London. Then, after several years working as an English teacher in Spain, and before starting my PhD, I took an MA in Research in Philosophy.

My focus is on academic writing, translation, proofreading, editing, and reviewing.
